Conservation
The Lunker Bass Program
Managed by the Toledo Bend Lake Association and the Sabine River Authority, the Lunker Bass Program is the pinnacle of the lake's genetics management. Catch a largemouth bass weighing 10 pounds or more, bring it to an official weigh-in station, and agree to release it alive — and you'll receive a free custom fiberglass replica of your catch.
Official weigh-in stations include Toledo Town & Tackle in Many and Buckeye Landing on the south end. Every released lunker keeps the reservoir's trophy genetics in the water for the next generation of anglers.
